Heavy Duty Components

The two main reasons Retriever can be covered by a Lifetime Warranty are 1) simple, efficient design and 2) heavy duty construction materials.  The deck and ramp flat sections are made from 1/4” high yield, high strength sheet steel. 

The supporting members are Deep L sections, specially flanged to increase strength and rigidity while holding down weight.  The L-shape of the channel prevents water and debris from accumulating, reducing maintenance time and costs and extending Retriever’s productive life.

A standard Retriever deck weighs only approximately 5,600 lbs., less than a comparable roll-back, but it is still able to transport a greater payload.

Fewer nicks and gouges mean little or no upkeep costs.

Retriever is finished with a combination of Sherwin Williams Kem-Flash Ultra Bond Primer and Kem 400 Enamel.  

The epoxy ester primer is specially formulated for off-road equipment, so it can handle tough treatment. 400 Enamel is also a special purpose, high-gloss product formulated for metal applications.

These quality coatings ensure the equipment that puts your name out on the road will look better longer, for a lower cost to maintain.
